These delicious clean eating barbecue rosemary pork chops could be the most delicious thing to come off your grill this season!

While I try to limit my pork consumption, sometimes it’s a wonderful way to get a little variety in a clean eating plan. Especially when it’s cooked right.

Not to long ago, we got a new grill, and I’ve been grilling ever since. I just can’t get enough of it!

I used to bake my pork in the oven and always came up with a bland, rubbery piece of something that was supposed to be meat. But the new grill changed all that. This was sooooo yummy!

Ingredients

  • lbs. pork chops (3 chops)
  • 6 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Unwrap the pork. I like to rinse mine off a bit, but that’s a personal choice. You don’t have to.

  • Prepare your rosemary. Simply run your fingers backwards over the tough stems to remove the leaf from the twig.

  • Put everything in a Ziploc bag and “moosh” it around to get the pork covered in oil and rosemary. Allow to sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

  • Toss those puppies on the grill until done. A meat thermometer should read 170 degrees F. when done.

  3. This recipe was incredible! I can’t believe how tasty the pork chops turned out using such simple ingredients. I was skeptical…but you were right! My husband RAVED about the pork chops.   4. That has actually changed as of late. I love pork and I do eat it more frequently now. Some folks question how clean pork can be considering how the meat is processed. But if you can afford to buy organic and pastured pork, it’s actually a pretty good choice in my opinion. Others may not agree.

  6. Is brown rice clean eating too? I would like to have that as a side dish along with some broccoli? In the brown rice I would use extra virgin olive oil infused with organic butter. Mmmm, it’s better than butter! Btw, the recipe sounds great and can’t wait to try it.

  8. Dinner ruined. My common sense should have said about 12 minutes because when I say these are burnt….they can’t even be cut into. Next time about 10-12 minutes.

  9. I made these the other night. They are fantastic. You can add a little mustard and a little honey to the marinade. It caramelizes it so nicely! Rosemary is a favorite seasoning with me so this is perfect. AND it is easy to do!!! Love easy!!!
